Parking Brake Eliminator...

So I'm installing the "Shorty" Rear Brake cable from Motion Pro on my '95 with stock brakes and was wondering if when the parking brake cable is disconnected from the front brake lever/perch do I have to install anything to block off where the Parking brake cable was housed or leave open? Haven't been able to find any info on this and dont want to install till I have a definite answer. I have found Parking brake block off plates to purchase but those are for HYDRO brakes...Right?? Any answer will help...thanks.

Nothing needed. Those block offs are for hydro brakes which have a mechanical parking brake, which is useless.

If you wanted you could get a different perch for the front brake, but it's not necessary.
