Oil Injection Port on Carb

green hose is a vent, and must be just like it is, open to free air

i do now see that black fitting, i'd say that is an oil injection inlet, block it off fo-sho

watch this vid, it shows that same type of gold port, but this one is definately blocked off from the factory, thats where they needed to drill crossways that couldnt be casted into the carb body
that one on yours definately shouldn't be open !!!!! ...........

Cool vid...now I know WAAAAYYYY too much about carbs. 8-| I like the little tool he had made, now if someone would only figure out a cheap tool I could make so I could sync the carbs on my 500 LTD without sucking the lead into it.
