does anybody know a grab bar thats offset like the stock one and doesnt sit an 1-1/2" to the right? that really pissed me off when i went to bolt up this sms one i just got today...

i made a cutom one that came straight out and i never even noticed it was offset, it doesnt look like it at all.
ewhh yea i put it on anyway there almost all not offset like they should be. Its only an inch off to the right i can deal with it,

The one I have isn't offset. If yours is offset, I bet you installed it backwards!! The reason that the mounts are offset is because the right side mount bolts to the outside of the rear subframe, while the left side mount bolts to the inside of the subframe!!
Flip it around and I bet it will be balls on!!!

Just like an AC racing one, only cheaper!! Probably better made also!! When I first installed it, I installed it upside down, and it was all crooked and such....I was like WTF?!?!!?!! And then I realized what I had done!! Now it's ballz on. Love it. Way easier to grab onto the rear and yank it out of the mud!!

Bro mines NOT offset like tha stock one is there for it sits 1" to the right!! i dont like those big azz ones mines small and clean, i know the ac and dg ones are offset which i like alot but i wanted a square one not rounded. round looks cheezy to me IMO
and it only goes on one way (or at least mine does) or the bolts wont line up right

If so, I can see exactly why it would be offset!! You can get similar bars that line right up with the rear subframe, but they would have to have a jog on the left side to account for how the left side mounts to the inside.
They make different grab bars for a reason, everyone uses their blaster for different stuff and there's one to fit everyone's needs! I love my big huge grab bar!! The stock one used to bend when I had to really pull hard on it....I think flipping it over backwards didn't help it, haha. Big aluminum ones are pretty tough.
