not running right :(

i have a 2001 blaster and just had it bored .20 over and replaced the float, needle and seat in the carb, i also have a fmf silencer on it. ever since i put it back together it will not run right i had to take the air box lid off and it ran good for about an hour and then just stalled and not wont run. it will start if i have the throttle floored and will only stay running when its floored but doesn't run right and as soon as i let off the gas i bogs right out



and it only has 60lbs of compression! with a brand new piston gaskets rings and .20 over

Well do a leakdown test and a plug chop. There is plenty of info on this around here. And also sounds like your pilot jet is dirty try cleaning that and the whole carb and see what it dose. Also do as listed before.'if worse comes to worst you might have to buy a new
Size jet.

Did you break in the topend? If the air box lid is off and its not rejetted it could burn up the topend. Did you do a leakdown tests? are the reeds good?

no didnt do a leak down test. i broke down in about 2nd or 3rd gear. i put a bigger main jet in and it wouldnt run because it was getting too much gas, and the next stage pilot jet i got didnt fit in my carb

no did you break in the topend? like heat cycles and letting the rings seat.

Yea its blown if u didnt rejet when u pulled the lid off....

When you do comp test, wide open, kick till gauge stops moving. Screw in gauge with adapter same length as spark plug.

i did a comp test and i kicked it till it stopped moving and it was at 60
