i say no also, he really hasnt done anything good except make a bunch of speaches. as far as bailing GM out that was a good thing if you were a part of the company or the supply companies but i wasnt really too impressed with spending EVERYONES tax dollars to bail out a private company that has made lots of bad decisions with greedy unions and such. imho...
I say no i don't see anything being any better than it was 2 years ago. About the bombing and blowing up stuff. I think that's a total load of bs. if you want to teach them a lesson blow it up and then don't rebuild. Maybe they will think twice next time about messing with the u.s.a. If anyone remembers REALLY what started all this crap with the economey going to sh*t is all started wehn Bush went into Iraq and GAS prices hit $5 a gallon in parts of the US. The highest I seen here in KY was $4.10 for 1 day but that is what started it all. After gas went up everything else did too and everyone went into a conservitive mode and didn't buy anything which caused retail stores to loose a lot of money which caused manufactuers to loose money which caused them to shut down and lay off jobs. No jobs ment no buying or building houses and also looseing houses. But if you look back it all started with the Gas going up. Before I lost my job I was making $14 an hour which isn't great and when gas prices were high I was spending over $100 a week in gas to drive to work so when it took almost 1/3 of your check just to get to work it took a big hit on the amount of money someone had to spend on other things.
i agree with you the economy started going down when gas prices went up. Thankfuly i drive a company van. SO that part didn't affect me to much about going back and forth to work.... It did though with try to support two kids and a old lady. With the prices of everything skyrocketing and my pay staying the same it's getting harder and harder every day. Gas came back down well they capped it at 2.15 a gallon meaning it can't go any lower than that until they lift the cap. But the prices of everything else didn't drop to go along with the gas.
Without a doubt he didnt deserve it! What really has he done good lately, um nothing. You know all these people are talking about pollution and what not, banning two strokes and other junk and Obama and his wife go to Denmark for a trip. Since Obama couldnt wait 7 hours for his wife, he decided to take the trip himself and she can go later by herself. He uses $1,000,000 in jet fuel and how long did he stay there for? 4 hours! Then she flies later on and goes there. What im trying to say is everyone of those weirdos are so concered with the enviroment that he wasted $1,000,000 in jet fuel just because he simply couldnt wait for his wife.

I voted no based on the fact that he was nominated less than a month after he took office. They nominated him based on his *potential to save our country.(While there are plenty of people that have already done something great to deserve it, we choose him because he might do something even better) Could he earn it? Sure its possible he could earn it if he made some major changes in the direction this country is headed. He just hasn't yet!
