Hey everyone, i'm new to this forum, my fist time doin this stuff. i've owned a couple dirt bikes in the past so i am a rider, buut this 95 yamaha blaster i picked up for $400 is my first quad, and after taking it for a whip around the block.....IM LOVING IT!:o will upload some pics soon. got a couple upgrades, if you guys have any tips on upgrades or good sales on any web sites o anything you think would help me get deeper into this blaster i would appreciate it!
Thanks a bunch guys!I:I

just search around a little bit, the biggest bang for your buck engine wise IMO is

a pipe
reeds
28-30mm carb
uni filter
remove the airbox lid

Welcome to blasterforum

thanks for the warm welcome haha butt i have an fmf pipe but no spark arrestor :( should i get a foam filter or the ones like on cars? and i dont think mine came with an airbox lid, because i remember taking the seat off and the filter was just there.. lol what reeds and carb brand do you suggest? i heard v-force are very popular and ive had them on my dirtbikes but idk if its the same for quads..
Thanks!

sounds like a great deal and fmf is a good pipe i hear but there is way better and ya v force three reeds are probably up there with the best reeds and get a uni filter not a k@n

i really think it was..compared to how much quads are selling for here, it was a steal at that price..you got any websites that sell these parts for a good price? :-/

foam filters for the win!!! i have a moose filter and it didnt let a speck of busco sand into my intake the entire trip so i am SOLD on foam. vforce reeds are nice but a boyesen rad valve and boyesen carbon fiber reeds can usually be found at a cheaper price. this place will give you a mod bug for sure I:I

welcome man. you will find blasterforum is very helpful. i have an fmf pipe and silencer and i have no problems with it. but guys say toomey, powerpros, sheerer, lrd... i guess a bunch of exhaust is better. and go with a foam filter. they seem to trap more dirt than k&n type

a fmf is great for a slightly modded engine after that they start to not perform so well, so thats when the power pros and the LRD, vitos, ect.. take over

man thanks a bunch guys! if i have any questions ill be sure to let you guys know :)
but as of now, i've been asking around the best way to paint plastics, any clues?

the best way to paint plastics is to rough them up a bit with sand paper, make sure they are really clean and then use krylon fusion paint, then a whole bunch of clear coat
