Still in the process of letting it set in, so it wont chip..and waiting for my decals to come in the mail, will be repainting frame in a few weeks...hope everyone likes it, i think it turned out pretty good

5-6 coats of a good clear coat will help with chipping

ya, i put a whole crap load of clear coat on it, i know its gonna chip but it will get me by for a few weeks till i can buy aftermarket fenders, i wanna see about putting either a newer model fenders on there or a different design, i also used to paint that is spesifcaly for plastic, so hopefully that will help somewhat with the chipping, not sure we will have to see

oh you painted your fenders not your frame. i've used the plastic paint too it does work better with clear but it scratches off easily. but since you went from blue to black shouldn't be as noticeable.

yeah i had a blasty that was that color once, i think it was an 00 or 01 not sure, but yeah be easy on that paint that fusion crap is junk from what ive used it... even with primer and sanding. keep up the progress

ya it was jus the fenders, im gonna do the powdercoating for the frame, or how ever is the best, ill worry bout that later

the fusion does bond good with good prep, and with 5 coats on engine enamal clear only oner spot on mine chiped and thats where my wallet chain was bouncing and sliding around on the fender

ya tell me about it, those were the biggest things thats drove me nuts, they were so ugly, i still gotta get rid of those yellow shock springs, but they still look ok for now, cant wait for my decals then wont look so bland..lol
