Hey guys, I just traded my truck for an 06 Blaster and I'm wondering what are some really common things people do to them to make them go.

I'm guessing a pipe, any recommendations?

I saw something on another thread about flipping the front tires, what does that do for you?

Not wanting to put a lot of money into it just yet as I need to get my Polaris 4x4 in workable shape for moose hunting.

The previous owner said it has 6 speeds, oil injection and dirt devil rear tires.

My dad is a fabricator/welder so if there are some cool things to do there for cheap i'd be into that too.

A pipe would the first thing to do to give it a lot more get up and go, but you have to re jet the carb if you change the breathing.

Flipping the wheels gives the bike a wider stance, so it will be less tippy.

On some bikes you have to be careful that the valve stems don't get ripped off by the brakes.

Welcome to the forum. Make sure you read up on jetting,plug chops and leak down testing. Seeing that you have an 06, you won't be able to flip the front tires without some extra work do to the valve stem hitting the brake caliper. A good pipe and porting with make huge improvement.

air filter, pipe and a re-jet really wakes these little blasters up

Do you have any reccomendations on an air filter, And whats a good pipe, id say for low to mid range power, My plan is to tool around with this thing around home but also might try to take it moose hunting as my dad doesn't have a wheeler. so he would ride my 4x4 and I'd ride this just to carry myself, the 4x4s can do the work.
So there will be a few short mud holes and some steep hills.
The ground is very hard here and full of rocks.

Good low/mid pipes are, DMC Alien, and FMF.

When run with a reed spacer block between the reeds and the jug, and with a +4 timing advance these pipes produce great low/mid power.
