Sorry for jacking but would shipping be cheaper from SA to Aussie than from the US.

Well Im not sure. Im not sure the Yamaha agents would entertain that. Yamaha SA gets stock from Japan and stockpiles it at the Johannesburg depot and then dispatch parts to the agent outlets as required.

OEM parts readily available for them blasters. I (even is South Africa) can get every single nut and bolt from Yamaha agents within 2 days!

That's amazing! I used to work for a Ford dealer here in the states. There are Ford cars built in 2000-2001 that certain parts have been discontinued already, rendering them useless to their owners unless they can find used parts.

Ya I know, yamaha SA is well known here as being one of if not the best service agents. I order all my jets from them, I can get wheel nuts, gaskets and sometimes rings right over the counter. They have exactly the same service for the old 89 Moto4 4 200. Every single part!
