I very much appreciate this site and your lack of assholeness!! A young man can ask a question that has been asked many times... and you don't rip him... you just give a knowledgable response! I'm not a young man!! LOL!! But I appreciate seeing that!

Anyway, I own a Blaster and two Banshees. I have been wanting to upgrade my Blster. Mine runs great and in a powerband this so so awesome for my close trail riding and girls 1/4 to 1/2 throttle, I don't want to change it.
So I want to upgrade a Blaster to stroker and bigbore.... a different one than the one I have. Just saw an '06 with bad top and bottom end on Craigslist a few days ago! Didn't realize at the time, I want to keep mine current and create a new build.

Anyway, looking to repalce top end and bottom end. I know this is all available by search, but thought it might like to be discussed again.

First two questions.
1) What is the largest +mil stroke without trenching. (Who is the providor)
2) Whose big bore kit do you recommend? (Assuming KOR will be cleanng/porting up the cylinder for the +3, +4).

Questions will follow

I'm pretty sure that the vitos +3 striker is as big as you can go without trenching.. it comes with a spacer gasket... I'm almost positive. Sorry f that's not a definitive enough answer... Lol

yep, the vitos +3 is the longest stroke without trenching, and can be run with the provided spacer plate/double gasket set-up.

or better yet, have the cylinder ported for the added stroke and run a single base gasket...(OEM or cometic only). no spacer/double gaskets needed.

avoid the paper green/black gaskets, they've been the cause of many leaks.

the LA. Sleeve/CT cylinders are the cats meow, but big $.
the ported vito's 240 kits ken offers are also very capable and possibly more reliable.

Thank you for the advise the LA Sleve!! Funds say Veto +Mil.

How much performance does the 3mil add? I know a 4mil on a Bansee is quite noticible, but that is 4mil X 2 cylinders. Just don't know what to expect from 3mil on a single cylinder. Does anyone have any experience with just adding the 3mil stand alone (i.e. not doing other mods as well at the same time)? If not, does anyone have a educated guess on the added performance from the 3mil?

not speaking from experience,
but I think I have seen mention of 5 HP.
mostly in the low to mids,
IIRC ?

5 HP for 170 bucks.... that's not bad. About similar to adding a pipe I guess.

Awk08, I'm affraid I don't know what "IIRC" stands for.
