need to change cranks seals what else should i change once im there

i have to change my cranks seals because of the lost of power and lots of white smoke. im going too open the engine (and i know you dont have to open it to change them, just feel like opening it I:I) but i was just going to ask what else should i change while im there

im going to throw a new piston and piston rings .040 over
all new gaskets
just dont know what else to change thats not that much money

Welcome to the site! So your not talking about spliting the cases correct? Do a home port job following kens diy sticky. Also you can send the head off for a mod for a lil more power. What else have you got done to it?

you could change all the seals and some of the easy bearings for under $100

check for worn or bent shift forks, burrs on drum, bent shift shaft, weak springs for forks-shift shaft. Might consider shift star mod (search function)

yeah ima check around for anything else that isnt in good shape and ima change all the seals and bearing.... i dont really want to put alot of money into it maybe some fmf pipes and sh*t ima also do a custome body because i dont really like the front of the blaster (especially that big light lol) but i dont keep quads for long i usually buy them kind of messed up, fix them, ride them, and sell them. and then do another atv but ill post up pictures after im done with it and its already .040 over (with vito piston) so im NOT sending it to the shop im good with that
