i wana get a port job and some head milling anyone think i should wait til i get a +3 crankshaft and vitos 240 bb allready got a wiseco 240 piston and stuff but i herd that vitos has more power

if you are going to do a BB stroker, get the stroker first. if your have to wait on something it shoud be teh 240 especially if you are porting it. the stroker crank if you add it later after porting the cylinder will mess up your port durations. your best bet and probly teh cheapest, is to buy a stroker crank, and a BB sleeve. have your cylinder sleeved and ported. dont mill teh head, rechamber it. have teh whole dome redone for teh fuel you use.

make sure you have a pipe also, it will make a big difference.

contact kennedy powersports....

yea im geating a shearer for it and i allready sent kennedy a msg and they havent got back to me im gana see wat kennedy says would be best to get done

The Shearer pipe really isn't designed for a 245 stroker motor. The Dyno Port is one of the better high volume pipes if you're looking to get good broad midrange power. The Vito's Fat Bastard is good for a dune type setup looking for mid to top. The Vito's 240 head&cylinder kit's aren't bad, but for very little more you could get the LA Sleeve 240 head&cylinder kit. The LA Sleeve kit is better than the Vito's in almost every way. I never recommend doing a re-sleeve big bore on a stock cylinder because they will overheat easier than the full kits. The aluminum around the sleeve is what absorbs the combustion heat as it is transfered to the cooling fins, less of it is not a good thing:)

We are a dealer for LA Sleeve. We can get you that kit for $695.00 un ported. The LA Sleeve kit includes forgred piston, full cylinder, and Head, top end gasket kit, boyesen rad valves, Intake manifolds, Our price on the Vito's kit is $530.00 un ported and it includes, cylinder, head, cast piston and top end gasket kit. It uses the stock blaster style intake and does not include a reed valve assembly. Upgrading the Vito's to a forged piston will add on another $152.00. So the total on the Vito's would be $682.00 w/ a forged piston. So an extra $13.00 for the LA Sleeve you are getting a better set up and well worth it in my opinion. The LA Sleeve has a better port layout in my opinion. If you have other questions please ask.

allright i gota get the money first the crank shaft is 170 and then the cylinders how much what would u charge me for a port job and mods for the crankshaft to work
