Need some help please! ---------

Hey all, just a quik question before i take this lil quad to pismo dunes is, how many Gallon of gas can i run before my premix oil tank runs out of premix? I do not know how much that container holds but do you think i could get 7 or more gallons of gas before i run out of oil?

no way u will get 7 gallons outta 1 tank of oil...i would say u will need to fill it 2 or mabe even 3 times..depending on how much riding u do while u r there...why not just bring a quart with ya?

I will bring some more oil, im just wondering because it seems the oil tank holds 1.4 quarts, and on my race bikes 1quart at 32:1 is enough for 7.5 gallons, and if the blaster holds 1.4 quarts wouldnt i be able to get atleast that, sence it mixes itself at about 32:1?

how long, if ever, have you had injection connected ????
my old 96 used to go forever on 1 tank of oil,
way further than mixing it per quart of oil ????

i think the injector ratio is diffrent...i think it was 40:1 which dont make sense because that would use less oil than 32:1....i think i remember having to fill my oil tank every 2 full tank of gas...thats was almost 4 yrs ago so i could be wrong

Thanks for the reply! Yes i know i can get more then 2 tanks out of it for sure, but im wondering if anyone has an exact or close to number of gallons i can get out of 1.4 quarts!

i thought i heard it injects it at 20:1 which would use almost twice as much oil ???
but i swear my stock 96 used way less oil than mixing it nowadays, seems like i'm forever buying oil ????

20:1 is extremely rich the manual says 32:1, but if anyone has a answer to my question id greatfully appretiate it!

same here awk, when ever i had my oil injection on, it would last forever. i used to mark the lines where it leveld and check it because i thought it wasnt working, but i then saw that it went down alittle after acouple hours.

just fill it up, and take an extra quart with you, then keep an eye on how many gallons of fuel to how many ounces of oil you use, (refill it when done)

then we'll all know

oil injection runs 25:1(eeeew rich) but as far as how much it will last for I am with AWK on the test it out and tell the tale theory...

i believe it lasts longer injecting it because it's at a variable rate with the rpm's ????
