Need Help!

Hey, can anyone help me. I race a blaster and lately the bike hasent been working right. When doing the holeshot the bike feels like its choking its self and wont let the gears wind out. I always make sure the air filter is properly maintained, so i have ruled that out. Need some real help. Thanks in advance

Sounds like a plug or your jetting.

No the airbox lid is gone and is a new plug, as for jetting, it was fine after it was first jetted then like a week later it started

I would start with cleaning the carb and follow with doing the electrical (ignition) tests in the manual. Check compression just to know where you are at.

Will try cleaning it, as for wiring, i removed the tors ( I think). I read a post that said to remove all the sensors then ground the green wire out of the stator. is this right? its an 05 blaster

Did you just remove the TORS? meaning is this when the problem started?

well like i said its an 05 so the tors is built into the cdi, right? so as for removing it i dont know if this was right, does anyone know how to properly remove it. And now that i think about it, after removing it thats around the time it happend

So, did you disconnect the carb and throttle switches and jumper the throttle switch?

Also try disconnecting the e-brake switch.

I dissconected all the switches, throtle, carb ( carb is a 30mm oko), brake, ect... i didnt splice or wire together any of them. just grounded the green wire out of the stator

this is your problem... both places where you cut the tors need to be spliced together. i did it on my 04 engine and it must be done or it wont run

when i did mine all i did was cut the wires coming out of the cdi leading to the throttle and splice them together, then the wires heading to the carb i cut and spliced them.

Why did you ground the green wire? I've never heard that one before. The green wire is the ground for the stator source coil, but it is an isolated grond that is run through the cdi.

Also, on my 04 I had to jumper together the wires to the throttle switch or it wouldn't idle.

The reason i grounded it is because i found a post on this site that said to do that, and it actualy worked but dont know if it was proper. When i disconected the sensors without looping them then i grounded it he worked fine, but still not sure if it was right
