I had a blast, well at least until I went over my handle bar n had my blaster land on my back n came out with a fractured rib. Teach me to think the trail continued when it didn't. I am so grateful that I was wearing my helmet tho

Idk what rib, the er wasn't very informative or reassuring on their diagnosis so I'm waiting for my follow up with my doc to ask all the questions and get all the detail.
Awk08 and quadrider10, I saw it coming too, that's why I made the comment about wearing my helmet.
Ohh. Lol. Sorry to tell ya, but there's nothing u can do about ribs. They hurt like pigs, and nothing u can do. It sucks. Personal experience. Hope ya feel better, and Advil is ur best friend.

Yeah I got it with those lights on it but they weren't working n I got one rigged up to work n I think that is all ill really need cause its bright as hell. The paint job I did myself but I now have to redo the right rear fender cause after it landed on me n I rolled it off me it rolled onto its right side n chipped a bunch if the paint off, but I think ill wait till I get newer plastic so it doesn't look all banged up.
I fractured a rib on my last ride man, it sucks real bad. Was climbing a sand hill on a old dirtbike going way to fast and dumped it over on some rocks. One of them caught me just right hurts like hell wen i cough or move the wrong way or breath in to deep.
I always wear my helmet and i tighten the strap a little more when i know im doing crazy sh*t I:I
Yeah it does hurt like hell when u do anything normal. Its not so bad during.g the day when ur under the influence of pain meds, worse part is waking up first thing I in the morning after they wore off n trying to sit up. It's surprising to find how often u use ur shear muscles for everything.
Oh I def plan on it, but this time I am going to double and triple check every new jump I find before taking to the air lol, sucks when u think the trail goes on but turns out it doesn't n its washed out, makes for a very rough and painful landing. But while I'm healing I think I need a top end rebuild. I'm also one piece shy if completing a home made leak down tester.
u should always juat roll over jumps and stuff, until you get a feel. then u should go little bit faster, and jump it a little. then just go all out I:I lol
I was fine with taking jumps (hence the pics) I was just stupid n tried a new jump before I looked on the other side cause I thought we were in I different section of powerlines lol
U should still always run over them to make sure. U never know how your bike will react to the jump.
There was a kid who went to this track, and it was his first time there, my second. He was told to stay behind me and learn the track before he took off. Well after 3 laps, he thought he knew it well enough, so he took of infront of me, and tried hitting every double. And one of the doubles he hit, he cased it and the bike landed on top of him. He got knocked out, and when I hit that same double, I almost landed on top of him. Because he wasn't moving, and there were no flagers out to the jump yet. Turns out there was a hole in the landing that made him bump his steering and flip. I know, cause I did the same afteHe went home rite after that with a pain in his back, and neck. He wasn't even there for 20 mins. I still goot to race.
Point taken n I will live by that advice from now on cause I want to live for my kids, n I won't be able to ride for a while now so that's no fun either, n to rub it in my face more by brother in law n I got a guy to come down with mini excavator to work in our track that we are building. Its going to be small but twill be right next to our houses. Guess I'm going to be the photographer for awhile lol
