To add insult to injury, one must always know what is on the other side of a jump!
Recently we were at a MX meet, and one of our buddies , who had ridden the track many times, came late.
He had no time to inspect the track. He just unloaded the bike and headed for the starting gate.
Unknown to him the landing after a 2 metre high jump had been changed.
He missed the landing, cartwheeled numerous times, completly wrecked the bike, and got a speedy trip to the hospital in an Ambulance.
Golden rule number one, always look berfore you leap.
