I got ahold of Snyder finally. Going there tomorrow to check out some of his products after work. I got the Blasty down to the bare frame, gonna make some gussets and get it all welded up so I can send her out. I:I

Finally some pics.
Well here are the pics of the gussets I made all welded in. I made them all from 1/8" plate steel. More than enough for the Blaster frame. Took me about 4hrs in all, and no dollars. Had the steel sitting around the shop. Yesterday the snow kept the customers away so we did it all on company time. Anyway here are the pics.

Looks nice but your screwed if your making it an mx bike. You should forget about putting nerf bars on it now, because right where you welded a plate in, is where the nerf bars mount up in to.
I am not using Blaster Nerfs on the quad. I am welding on mounts, and using Raptor 660 Nerfs. It will be fine. That is stage 2 of the fab work on the frame. I:I
Yeah, I've thought this build out. I am not just welding up crap without thinking about it. Also if any of you noticed. I removed all the oil injection tabs, rear fender support tabs, rear brake mount and a few other brackets I will not need. This thing is going to be a purpose built race Blaster. No BS that will not make me faster. I:I
I've found that having ALOT of polished parts makes you faster! When the sun hits them it blinds the other guys!
I can see that. I don't usually say things like this, but I really love the look of your quad. I would hate to maintain and polish it, but it is absolutely gorgeous. Mine on the other hand will be pretty much all black. I want to look like the guy that just really doesn't fit in, and really doesn't care. I want to get all black plastics, but I might be getting a killer deal on all blue race plastics. :">
I figured if I'm going to go all out on the build, then i might as well go ALL out! I'm going for just the opposite as you, I want everyone to stare as i roll up to the starting line and then wonder, what the hell has been done to the inside of the motor. thanks for the compliment
I just sold my AR-15 so I am making a trip back to Snyder's tomorrow or Sunday. I am picking up allot of stuff. +5 +1 A Arms, +3 roundhouse swinger, 03 brakes, +4 axle, and wheels, and tires. Now if I can sell my mountain bike, I'll get some shocks very soon too! I found out I can sell my road bike for 1500-2000, but I can't sell it. The value goes up on that thing every year. That and 100 mile bike rides are good for the seasoned MX racer. I:I Next on my list is Nerfs, more fab work, and powder coating. I should of done those first, but I am getting a great deal on the aforementioned parts, and I gotta act now.
I am thinking of picking up a set of yfz450 shocks for $100, and sending them to this place. It is only about 2hrs away. I once bought Laeger A Arms from them for my R. It's cool, where I live now there are lots of quad people around.

Good point. I can get some Elkas right now for cheap, but I can't afford them. Not right now. I just dropped allot of cash. I could pick up the YZF shocks just for now, and buy Elkas later on.
Update:
I picked up some goodies. I threw some of them on for a mock up.
Full hydro brakes, with stainless lines, and a used chain!
I got a race harness, but I cut out all the junctions, and soldered everything. Then I heat shrank it all. Came out nice.
Blurry pic with the new to me Snyder +1 +5 a arms, I also got the disc hubs, and reinforced front wheels, and +1 Snyder stem.
Kinda a better 3/4 shot. I got the Pro Tapers in the deal too, that's a Snyder +3 roundhouse swinger, and a +4 Lone Star axle too.

Now it all gets tore down, and I wait, for my Raptor Nerfs to come so I can weld the mounts for it, and the rear brake mounts, and then send it off to get powder coated. I am going to be picking up some Beadlocks for the rear, Race Plastics, Elka Rear shock soon, and YFZ fronts. Gonna be slow now for awhile until I get my Nerfs next week. I got all these parts from Snyder they were parting out a National MX Blaster. They have another one they are parting out too, or they may sell it as a whole if anyone wants it that way. The one I got my stuff from still has a 240 top end, and a bottom end with a +4mm formula stroker, Baller ass Elkas, and a LRD pipe, and a seat left. The other one has pretty much all the same stuff on it too. I got a crazy deal on all this stuff. If you are looking for anything similar either call them, or PM me, and I'll do the talk to them for you. Tell them you I told you about it, if you call them. Everything was dirty, and there were some spots where I had to touch them up with some spray bomb, but for the price, I cannot complain.

Yeah, well I just split my clutch side case off. I found out why my trans locked up last time I rode. The clutch basket gernaded inside. So it looks like it's time to add a Hinson clutch basket to the list of things I need.
