it can be tricky, try a little flat headed screwdriver. if you manage to not stab yourself with it the small head works great.

put the ass end on a milk crate or something to keep wheels off the ground. Loosen the two bolts that hold the carrier (the part the axle goes through) then loosen your chain adjusters push the carrier towards the front of the bike till it stops, if ya still dont have enough- then loosen the adjusters more. After it's on then pull the carrier towards the rear a little bit to take out the big slack, snug the two carrier bolts and use your adjusters to finish the process don't make it too tight. I can't remember the proper adjustment I wanna say 1.15" I think. -Bob

yes, do this ^^^^. also i always measure my chain adjusters before snugging them to make sure they are exactly the same and my axle is square.

i like to measure from center of hub to center of hub from front to rear to check to make sure that it's square.

also one thing that has been causing me grief lately was that i didnt have enough slack in my fairly new chain to accept a chain roller. found out that the aftermarket skid i have was not allowing the carrier to achieve full slack. just a thought for ya

are you sure 92 links are enough i always buy 100 to 120 then i use a chain breaker to break off the extra
