Lt250r? 4cfed your opinion is definitely needed!

The LT is a good bike I've never own one but have ridden one. It makes a lil bit more power then a Blaster and shifts better too.
The only problem with it is parts availability. The aftermarket didn't support the LT like the TRX.
I wouldn't trade for it for just that reason. Blaster parts are easy to get and the aftermarket is healthy. You can also upgrade a Blaster to run with them.
If you truly want to trade spend some time online doing research for stuff you might need like pistons, jugs, pipes, clutch baskets, bearings, gaskets and other wear OEM parts.
Lots of OEM parts can be found at Bike Bandit.

Shut up! That was the blaster and that was after I did stuff to it and didn't have it jetted properly. Assuming this is jetted properly then I won't ever mess with it unless it's routine maintaining

.............4 times in 1 year. I hope you never have to rejet for winter.....I can only imagine the disaster waiting to occur once you need to put a new top end on it.

Dude stfu. I made mistakes, everyone does. Hyoid far from perfect and you are pathetic everything I say you come back with saying something about that. Seriously just give it up.

t250r only makes a bit more power than a blaster??? stock powervalved lt250r is mid 30s hp stock, they were faster straight line than the trx250rs but the trx kicked there ass in handleing.. hence the bigger support for the hondas...

i traded my blaster for my lt.. i like them both, but the lt is a longer machine and not as easy to wheely as a blaster, my blasters i coud throttle wheely with a little body engline.. the lt its more work...

butr if your lookin for straight line raw power and good brakes and better handling you cant go wrong with the lts ... you can still get all oem or oem style parts for them, only problem with them is the holes for the crank bearings are line bored so if you damage a case you need to get a matched set for cases other wise you will wear out the crank bearings fast!

fmf, dg, dr q and aaen make pipes for them, vforce 2 reed s/cages are available pro design cool heads are available... axles are available... a arms are hard to find, and leagers are most common, but iv yet to be in a situation where i feel extended a arms are a must, i lost it at about 65 on ice and slide sideway and it tipped alittle.. enough the right front tire was off the ground but due to the extended axle it stayed upright..

also a downfall is the transmissions are only good for 50 hp more than that and ppl reported wore or damaged shift forks, BUT there still fast even under 50 hp.. and there are guys that sell the conversion kits to built a lt500/250 hybrid than you can make over 120 hp!!!

my only complaint with my lt is even on a properly tuned carb and healthy motor it takes 3-6 kicks to start it after its been sittin for a few days, and the bars are to low for my comfort

Can anyone on here put a pic up for me? I'm on my cell phone and I want people to see the lt250r I can either email or text you a picture. Or have you look it up on craigslist

by the mods its fine, put a 39mm carb on it, and a pro design head and tear sh*t up, if its truly ported that motor will make close to 50 hp if not more depending on the porting, the fmf is a good trail pipe for them but again depending on the porting you may want to find a used dr q pipe ( i say used because a new q pipe is like 900 bucks!) or a aaen almost a clone to the dr q or a ftz super fat pipe. or pt high rev

heres the lt

are u guys trading title for title? i would touch it with 36ft pole if its got no title there would a reason why he is trading straight for blaster then (its HOT) lol but if its title for tile id be all over that it looks clean

my lt250r dont have a'title' well registration card ALOT of the quad racers were sold with out them since back in the day it didnt really matter and lot of them were raced

Every vehicle (cars, bikes, atv's, watercraft, etc.) bike sold in the USA has to come with a MSO (Manufacturers Statement of Origin). If you live in a state where they dont title ATV's, then it may have never been surrendered, but every bike came with one.

its not bad looking from the pic. always freaks me out not seeing a pipe running down the riders right side of the bike. Zuki sure did do things different back in the day.

you need to look this bike over real well. the upper shock mounts crack, so look at them closely.

when these motors are running well and not wore out they make very little engine case noise, if they arent, youll hear rattles in the bottom end.

dont get "new-bike-itice" and over look either of these. If you think it's expensive to repair your blaster, these are even more. If there's any doubt, walk away.

I does hit my strangely why the guy is willing to trade down in size, other then if there is something wrong with the bike that he's not telling.

wisconsin uses registration cards, piece of paper the size of acredit card with the make vin and sticker number ( sticker numb is the numbers on the sticker you have to stick on the tank for drn if your on public trails)

wisconsin its as simple as taken the number into the dnr. they run it and you walk out the door with new registration in hand.... no 'registration' card has existed on my machine for the last 10 years or longer... threw a whole differant deal i found the prev owner of my lt and he woned it since he was 16 (28) now and when he bought it there was no registration card and no tank stickers on it,
