Lt250r? 4cfed your opinion is definitely needed!

The LT is a good bike I've never own one but have ridden one. It makes a lil bit more power then a Blaster and shifts better too.
The only problem with it is parts availability. The aftermarket didn't support the LT like the TRX.
I wouldn't trade for it for just that reason. Blaster parts are easy to get and the aftermarket is healthy. You can also upgrade a Blaster to run with them.
If you truly want to trade spend some time online doing research for stuff you might need like pistons, jugs, pipes, clutch baskets, bearings, gaskets and other wear OEM parts.
Lots of OEM parts can be found at Bike Bandit.

yeah that might be why the person wants to trade cuz of prices and who knows if he ran the sh!t out of it and knows its gonna go soon he might want to take a closer look before he trades his blaster he might regret it

the lt isnt a good choice for everyone.. there biggest downfall is the lenght they ARE to long in stock form... anyone that dont understand that... go test drive one and you will see what i mean..

for mx or flat track the need to be shrortend atlest 2 inches if not 3 or 4.. look at side shots the rear tires are past the grab bar which makes them feel odd to alot of ppl... it took me a while to get usedto it..

once you learn to ride them hold on.. weight transfer and throttle you will be on your ass when you get on it in 1st 2nd and 3rd... my machine throttle wheelies so violent in 2nd on hard pack or the road you damn near cant even hit WOT before you gotta let off to keep your butt off the ground

Kind of like Shees in that respect....although LTs handle better still. :D

yes.. the only time my lt worried me was the other day when we were out at my buddys place.. flyin threw the field at like 60-65 mph... and crested out of a low spot... and the quad got light, and the beck and walked out, i almost panaked at that speed, but my instinct told me if i let off the throttle im gonne hook up and get slung shot off, so i kep er pinned and just pointed the front tires in the direction i wanted to go..

glanced over my shoulder a little and all i seen was two 8-10 foot high roosts of grass n soft dirt flyin threw the air

Damn, I can only imagine how bad that barrel roll would of been. :o I was riding the Blaster out at my Bro in law's new cabin, along the canal bank and had it pretty much pegged out in 4th and I couldn't see it, but somebody rutted out a HUGE area in the canal bank probably about 1.5ft deep and 4ft long, but it was hidden by the grass. I about pissed myself as I wasn't stopping and I knew if I did I was going to be nosediving into it. I gassed it but the ass end still dropped and basically cased the crevasse and my ass went up onto the handlebars....damn near went over, through a set of trees, and into the canal. :o I decided to slow it down and ride back in 1st gear. I:I

its not bad looking from the pic. always freaks me out not seeing a pipe running down the riders right side of the bike. Zuki sure did do things different back in the day.

you need to look this bike over real well. the upper shock mounts crack, so look at them closely.

when these motors are running well and not wore out they make very little engine case noise, if they arent, youll hear rattles in the bottom end.

dont get "new-bike-itice" and over look either of these. If you think it's expensive to repair your blaster, these are even more. If there's any doubt, walk away.

I does hit my strangely why the guy is willing to trade down in size, other then if there is something wrong with the bike that he's not telling.

well he said he would bring it to me and he lives about 2 hours away so i wouldnt think he would want to drive that if he knew there was something wrong with it and risk the chance to not trade. especially with gas prices where they are.
