Lower jug seal leaking

Starts and runs fine power feels ok, but seems to have a little bit of oil seeping out at the base of the jug just above stator cover. Is this a major deal or just something I need to keep an eye on?

you need to make sure that is where it is leaking from and not just oil from the exhaust. if you are for sure its leaking there you need to make sure all four of the nuts are tight,if it still leaks then you need to pull your top end and replace that gasket ASAP. otherwise that leak could allow more air in an lean it out causing it to cook the top end.

If oil/gas can get out then air/water/dirt can get in. Get a new head gasket and base gasket and replace them both.

I will take a look at it tonight and make sure everything is tight, otherwise
will order gaskets.
As for the colors that is the way it was when I picked it up a couple of weeks ago dirty and a bad clutch and coil and in it. Best 300 I ever spent.

Buy a new base gasket and a head gasket while you're at it. They are really cheap, like $20 max. Right now you are probably leaking compression if your gasket is bad.
