loose kick start rattles?

You'll need a new lock ball and spring kit to stop the rattle. I bet awk has a couple rebuild kits laying around, and even if not, they are out there. You'll just have to do a little looking.
Or you can pick up a good used kicker on ebay, but rebuilding your existing one isnt hard to do, and its a lot cheaper than replacing the whole thing.
Just stay away from rigged fixes. You know, using silicone, etc. It won't last or work properly.

I could not find any replacement parts for a Blaster but I found these for a Banshee

The spring and ball bearing worked fine. The rubber O-ring that seals off the bottom does not fit. It is too big. It is this O-ring that I think would keep the kicker from rattling. The ball bearing and spring keep it from flopping around. But for thirteen bucks shipped not a bad deal. Finding the correct O-ring at your local hardware store may be your solution. I just packed mine with grease to keep the dirt out.
