looking for rear brakes

i bought a 89 blaster for my girlfriend and the rear brakes dont work. i know the cable type are basically worthless and would like to put hydros on but im wondering if i can use the rotor and mounts that are on it now and just bolt a hydro system to it? anyone know?

also i would be interetsed in buying a rear cable type caliper if anyone has anything theyre looking to get rid of. let me know

Contact awk here on the forum. He sells a complete rear hydro kit for ~$160 I believe. He uses the caliper off of a sport bike so its just about the best brake you can get. Its on my list of future upgrades

Although not a strong, and I dont mean to discourage buyin from other members here. But you can grab a complete brake system from a chinese dirtbike or ATV online cheap. a couple pieces of heavy aluminum or steel and you can fab up your own hydro system pretty damn cheap.

awk's brake setup is going to be the best rear brake setup you can get!! I have it myself, if you decide not to go that route i have a rear brake setup for sale (stock blaster) pm me if interested

The caliper he uses is from a 150hp sport bike? Better than most aftermarket brakes
