We went to test the elka suspension out and found a new place to ride that is awesome close to home, and has quite a few challenges. I rolled the raptor and gashed my are up and thumb but kept on riding, later cleaned it up and probably could use a few stiches but oh well. I thought i was 18 again!!

This one is of my son testeing the front suspension out...

This one is of me doing the same hill/jump but chickened out..

This is a shot of the view we had...

My injuries- Found out that Slag cuts you pretty good!

timsyfz needs it to. he likes to roll his yfz

I havent rolled the YFZ more than once.... And that was a slo-mo roll..... I just pushed it off me, and kept going until I hit that stupid stump that twisted my stem (which is why I upgraded to LSR)....

I did roll the old 660 once too though... But that was in the winter when the quad caught traction while I was sliding around a corner...

However I do feel those bumps/bruises a little more and for a little longer nowadays myself.

Looks like the kid puts daddys raptor to shame.bbbaaaahhaaaa lol jk looks like a fun time and I am sure ther son enjoys those elkas. Thanks dad!!!^^^^^^

Went out again this evening, and seen the same two buck, in the same spot! The boy had a small accident he thought he was AWK and decided to challange some boulders, boom over the bars, just some scratches and a bent back rim, No pics this time as i took the camera but never charged it- Yes I'm a dumbass. It was pretty dusty today but fun as hell.

I just can seem to get the idle down good, the rest of the jetting is awesome! The idle issue it surges when idling i tried 10 different jetting combos, Done a air leakdown test positive and negative pressure all good, V2 reed cage is tight still, But it still surges at idle mostly, The plug chop came back awesome even a hair on the rich side as it's dark brown. But i'll be damned if i can figure out the idleing issue. Any tips or suggestions I'm open to.

Here is what I tried so far- Main 152 little lean, 155 still on the lean side for me, 158 now (perfect), clip on the third, second, fourth, with all different main changes- ran better on third than any (left it there), Pilots-42, 45, 48, 52, all with no change in performance, or idleing, the air screw at full in the quad stalls with all above options, 1/4 to 1/2, barely runs, 1/2 to 3/4, runs a bit better but very low, 3/4-1full turn out, runs better but low, 1-1 1/4- runs better but low, 1 1/4- 1 1/2, Runs much better, idle wise but will surge, 1 1/2- 2 1/4 out runs the same as 1 1/2 turns out. I also did these adjustments with every jet change. I tried different sopark plugs too, from stock cheapo's B8ES to B8EG, to the irridium one all with the same result. I lost at this point so this is how it sits now- Main 158, pilot 48, needle third clip, air screw 1.5 turns out. -Bob
