lil awks build

well, i didnt swap it out for just the heat cycles, i'm runnin it, till i get his frame done, for break-in and see if its gonna hold up, and tune it properly, remember this was my first complete rebuild, , had it out today for an hour, whatever kinda porting was done by the previous owner is a torque monster, lots of bottom end, dropped the stock mikuni needle clip to the 4th position and it really liked that, have a 300 main in now, but wasnt wot'in yet, gonna try the 330 & 340 i just got before i full throttle it for any length of time
i'm still workin the bugs out of my 34mm keihin and oconnor porting, which hits way hard in the mids and pulls forever
so seems like we're gonna end up with a bottom end torquey bike, and my mid/high oconnor monster

and freek, as for the vf2 reeds, my buddy has a set on his kx125, one busted, so i'm gonna go see if they are the old ones are the same??? he just got new ones from cernics suzuki,
but i'm goin straight to the source, moto tassinari, the makers of the v force reeds, try and give them a call, and let me know, or vice versa

called my son to see if he wanted to come down for a test ride, but he had to work, told him it felt beasty, and he was happy, but i dont know about lettin him ride it while it's in my bike, he aint crashin my sh*t, he is moving up from a sickly lakota 300 to a ported blaster, i think i'll let him wait for another week or two, and he can crash his own bike if he cant handle the new power, hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Just put a remote kill switch on it.lol Going to be a big improvement over the lakota.So when are we going to see the third blaster for the gf come into play.haha just messing.Looking good bro.

/\/\/\/\ that aint no joke, a dude laocally that bought one of my brake systems has a frame, bottom end and plastics, he said i could have free, he's gotta take off the a-arms he wants, so another build will prolly start soon after this one, got my eye on a honda 200s for $100 for a donor motor ????, or may go the 125 2 stroke route,
i like that one that showed up on here lately,
just missed a ktm 200 2 stoke for $400, that woulda been badass!!!!
prolly gonna go very mild though, so the gf can ride it???

Good to hear.I got my 03 frame from a friend for nothing,with a gas tank and some other miscelaneous items.My favorite price.lol If you end up getting it I have a few stock jugs here to go with that bottom end.I wish my boys were a little older(well not really wishing,they grow too damn fast,lol)I would love to do a 80-85 cc 2 stroke in a blasty frame for them.If you get one of those big boy 2 strokes I think you better be the one riding it.haha

man your lucky awk i cant find a blasty part within 500 miles of here....i have been trying to find a frame for a minute now.....hey i might also have a spare 200s motor over at my buddys house thats where our 3 wheeler graveyard is i used to have 2 spare motors just needed a top end rebuild when i get back from outta town ill see if he hasnt done something with em good price too FREE

a 200s motor in a blasty would be a great girlfriend beater. that 200s would run for freakin ever and the auto clutch would be great for a beginner...

i got one idea left to try and save this, thinkin of doing some white in the middle of each color, kinda more like a true "urban camo" design, it'll break it up more and make the patterns smaller, then if i still dont like it i'll do either all green or just black it out

i can at least say i tried to be different, but i blacked out the frame today, we'll leave the "urban camo" to the ankle length wigga shorts and paintballers from now on!!!!!
