Keihin PWK 28mm-HELP

I'm looking at buying these carbs from a guy. I am concerned that they aren't genuine Keihin carbs. The normal "KEIHIN" stamp is missing, even though they say "PWK". He said it looks like the "KEIHIN" was ground off. What do you guys think? Should I grab them or pass on them? I can get the pair for a great deal.

they may be knock offs, cant see the stamps grinding off that squarly, if you arnt sure, i wouldnt go for it

That's what I'm leaning towards. I think I will just pass on them.

would that be the OKO's? i thought they were exact knock-off copies.

they look kinda like oko carbs but looks like the fuel inlet is on the wrong side... i dunno what they are.

All of the OKO carbs I have seen still say OKO on them and none of them say PWK like these.

I am really wanting these to be legit.

right... did he say what they came off of? can you look at them in person? inspect the slides and jets. if everything looks good, slides arent peeling chrome and using the keihin jets, and its a good price (really good price) i would go ahead and getem. just have to route the fuel line to the other side.

It depends on the deal too. If the price is good enough to take the chance (he wants to dump both of them for $50) it doesn't matter if they're keihin, OKO, or heebee-geebee brand. As long as everything looks intact, get'em.
