hey i was lookin on ebay and found a toomey and silencer for 170! used but its pretty clean no dents :D
anyhow..

i need to rejet my bike now.. it has boysen power reeds on it but thats about it...
it had a 230 mainjet in it and i changed it all the way up to a 260 because i previously had a k&n pod filter...plus changed the pilot from a 32.5 to a 35
i took off the filter and put my stock box back on but left the jets i left in because it still ran fine... i rode it 4 hours and didnt foul a plug...

how much bigger will i need to go with the toomey?

Well, it depends on temperature, elevation, and the mods you have. Put a uni filter that fits stock airbox and run it without the lid. I'd jet to a 340. Mine went ka-boom with the 320 i had in it! try that and see where you need to go. After you put a 340 in, do a plug chop, theres a sticky of how to do it on the "Engine" category. Just try that! if it bogs, bump up 1 or 2 mains. Just go from there.

what yr is your bike 02 and older you will be ok on the needle, when i had my stock carb i was running a 340 with a uni filter and lid off

It's a 95' it's bone stock all I have is boysen reeds..(stock cage) Other than that the same way she came. Well besides the oil blockoff..
Do I need to bump up the pilot again..?
Has any1 used a amsoil air filter? Someone on craigs sells em for pretty cheap..
I have banshee front shocks 400ex rear. Ac nerfs. after the pipe I'm just going to leave the motor alone.. Any must have upgrade suggestions for a blaster any 1 ???
