holy bajeevus your way outta line lol, just kidding but hey man ill talk to you later im going to get off here and get awake lol its 9am.. ugh

nice score!! you'll find more info on the blasty here than anywhere else in the world. good peeps and good advice here.

i agree with makin it handle a little better first, as long as your motor is running good and needs no attention at the moment. i have made the choice to make quads faster in the past, only to have more power than the handling capabability's of the quad can keep up with. wider axle, wider A-arms, and better shocks, tires make a difference as well. you will be suprized at how much faster you are on the trails and track with the same motor just because you can stay on the throttle a little longer in different areas.

Looks like a pretty nice bike. You'll like it. I think the blaster is the closest you can get to a dirtbike without really being a dirtbike. Tons of customization available. You'll never find an end to what you can do. You might wanna check out the do it yourself section for some quick easy and cheap mods.

I hear what u guy's are saying, handling is an important part of course but for it being boarded 50 over it actually handles really good like when i hit mogos i dont feel any and it squats when i land and sh*t, when i turn corners that supension and shocks take alot of the weight.

But i would like to get some different footing area's cause the little metal pegs are great but what happens when i loose my footing and wriggidy wreck lol so im thinking about getting those footings that have like cloth material that u stand on, alot of the quads on here have them.

B)

it being bored 50 over is really nothing at all, its maybe a 203cc now. so your motor is still very stock. and youll be able to go twice as fast as you can now with better shocks and wider a arms/axle. then after that start the motor mods and youll be FLYIN!!

and those "cloth material" pegs are called nerf bars. you DO NOT stand on them, there there so in case you miss the peg landing a jump or your foot slips off. get used to using the pegs dude. you can buy wider ones with bigger teeth to grab ur foot tho.

Yeah, the pegs are nerf bars. They just add a little surrounding area incase your foot slips. You can buy another set of pegs and bolt them on your existing pegs to make them twice as wide. You can also add the second pegs and nerf bars if you desire.

Its a 1999
50 Boarded
Race ready:

what is race ready about this?
it looks bone stock.
not being mean, just telling you the truth.
and you didn't go 70mph, dont kid yourself or other.

but welcome to the site.
soon you might be half way race ready, but it takes a while when money is an issue.

but have you figured out the slapping sound? sounds like a bad bore job.
which mean more money out of your pocket to fix.
and a grand seems a little high for that year blaster

He's new to quads and was probably told that by the seller to make him think it was a better deal. $1000 is a little steep. You should really enjoy it though. Blasters are one of the funnest bikes to ride in my opinion. Anyways, welcome to the forum man, and watch out for that bug.

i am just the voice of truth and letting him know.
