Only thing I could assume is there's a yellow wire with a red stripe coming from the bottom end. It's cut and I have no clue where it goes.. Could u guys help?

AC, so to run any LED you need a converter (ac-dc)
Somehow by re-doing wiring on the stator i have heard it can be made dc, but im not sure...

When you find out how to rewire an alternator to produce DC, please let me know immediately and I will go halves in a patent application with you.
I'm pretty sure mike told me he had a battery on there for those huge lights...
Might have had a battery, which are dc. Float ground from stator to reg/rectifier to produce DC from AC.
To OP, besides linc for trouble shooting also look at wire diagrams for proper connections.
