ok i have read up on alot of things and watched tutorials. but the jetting side just goes through my brain like jibberish. i am boring the blasty .060 and have got my hands on a FMF gold series fatty header and a FMF sst power core 2 exaust. im running an open air box and im thinking about getting the machine shop to clean up the intake and exaust ports. can someone tell me just about what my jetting should be and how do i find out whats in it now. thanks.

as for finding out what it is now, take the carb float bowl off, and take the main jet out, the hex looking screw, there will be a small number engraved there. As for where you should be, that will be a result of plug chop, i am thinking around 300 mains though

I looked up my area and I am 254 feet above sea level. In the winter area it ranges from 30 to maybe 50. In fall or spring high 50's to high 80's. In summer from 90 to 105.

Almost the same elevation as me... Start with a 300 main and do plug chops from there. You'lll probably end up with about a 290 or 280 in the end. The stock pilot jet should be fine for your mods. If not, put in a #35 and you'll be good to go. Hope that helps.
