im going to be purchasing a jet kit for my blaster. i was looking on ebay and noticed alot of brands and whatnot and was wondering if any of you had some input on what kit to get. right now all i have done is oil block off, tors gone, airbox lid gone, and im going to be rebuilding my top end with a .020 wiseco piston kit. i live in florida as well if the altitude makes any difference.

Another vote for buying single jets. Chances are you'll only need to go up a few sizes on the main and possibly up one from stock on the pilot. Individual jets are cheaper than a kit, and often better made. Some of the jet kits out there do not use actual Mikuni jets. Can you say 'Made in Taiwan' or 'Made in China'?! Yeah.

If you buy a certain brand of jet kit, you may wind up with one or more jets with oddly-sized orfices in them. Not good! :o. This isn't of huge concern, but if you go ahead and just buy genuine Mikuni jets, you'll be sure to get the best quailty parts that will allow the carburetor to perform at its best. My .02.
