alright idk wtf is goin on with this friggin bike. setup is in sig. the only test i havent ran is a leakdown test. its running rich for sure; all of the settings are as lean as they can be:/ btw everything is perfectly clean. any thoughts or suggestions? anything at all.

if there is some sort of leak somewhere it would have to be internal and if so how does that create a idle prob?

need more info than "idle issues"

does it idle high?

does it bog out?

does it just shut off like you hit a switch?

just taking a stab in the dark with the small amount of info. I would say it is your tors or an air leak. getting a good idle is not an easy task when you have an airleak.(contact holeshotman in the forsale tread) if you haven't disconected the tors yet it can f up all sorts of throttle stuff. look it up in the diy section

tors. fml.thanks though and yeah it is rich ima bring it down a couple sizes and see what happens. thanks though, i appreciate the info.

Hey Low! Good to see ya. Did you do that TORS delete we talked about?

RIch, hmm, a 170 is probably a bit large for you. Start stepping down, I bet you end up around 155-160.

You already adjusted the float, I believe. It might be worth your time to use the clear tube method of checking you fuel level. You familiar with that?

yes actually i did yesterday and ofc problem solved:/ btw the bike is rich so ill be jetting it down this afternoon. the pilot circuit is lean and the main is rich:p and thus begins the trial and error process:p -royalt- thanks for the help btw; its always appreciated.

hey thanks for rep man. ive had my blaster for a while now just didnt know about the site til recently:p

Sounds like he's working on it still, Noob. The thing is,LOW, that all these bike are individuals by the time we get done mucking around with em, mods and such.

Jetting wise, I seem to run a larger main and smaller pilot then others around here. That is prob due to porting differences more than anything else. I moved down to the 40 pilot because I had almost no throttle response with anything much larger, yet it thrives on a main that would foul plugs on other motors. Go figure.

If you think you are lean down low and rich up top, you might want to start with standard jetting for a PJ and work from there. I'm assuming your PJ is a used take-off from a dirtbike or maybe a 250R. They tend to be jetted differently and use different needles.

PJ 34MM 67R #152 #55 48CEG #6.0

Other common needle choices are DGH (like I have) and CEL (like Noober has)

Glad you got it idling.

thanks royalt, i got it idling much better but for whatever reason it has leaned itself out in the pilot circuit once it got good and hot. and your right if i had to guess the previous owner prolly snatched it off of a dirtbike.
