I tried everything I put a new rebuild kit in the carb, I tried different adjustments and it dont do nothing. Idk if i can describe the idle but its like room room room....over and over. Today I put in a new right side crank seal and its not that i guess. Im at a lost of what to do next. when i had it running i pulled the choke all the way out and it almost seemed to idle right for a second but then died. I checked the plug it was brand new now its all black like carbon or something.
Im suppose to go riding on saturday through sunday but I guess not:(
Thanks for the help if you can.

well I just took the carb off and now its has black sand type material. I did the carb rebuild yesterday and was cleaned very good.

Its a brand new uni air filter and its oiled. I did clean it thoroughly. would this be causing my bad idle and bog under throttle.

A little more info about jet sizes and what, if any mods you have on the bike would be a big help. First thing I'd do is empty your fuel tank. Looks like you might have contamination in your tank or lines. Also, wash and re-oil your air filter and tube.

fmf fatty pipe w/ power core 2, and 240 jet, pilot is 32.5. I do have 230,250 and 260 jets here too. I emptied it once Ill try again I dont have the oil injection kit so i premix to 32:1.

I'd throw that 260 in it. Or even get a 270. The black sandy stuff has to be coming from somewhere. You said you just rebuilt the carb so, it must be something that's in direct contact With the carb; fuel n air. Also, if your oil injection is deleted, why is the hose still attached to the carb? Id remove it an cap it!!!

It has a screw in the end of that little hose. My neighbor told me its getting to much fuel so he thinks. I have the 240 in it now.

I'd throw a 260 or 270 in it and do a plug chop to check ur jetting. Sometimes Neighbors are full of sh*t, plug chops never lie. Trust the plug! That's the ONLY truth!

I cant ride it to do a plug chop, it wont go with throttle just bogs from stop to WOT.

well there was crap in the intake tube, its all cleaned and drying, the carb only had that crap where it was in the picture. Ill be back once I reassemble it.

The carb needs to be completely disasembled after the outside has been perfectly cleanned. Remove every jet, air screw and spring, choke assembly, if you can remove it do it! Totally stripped down sprayed with carb cleaner, then compressed air to blow dry, put back together, float level corrected to 20-21.5mm max. 260 main installed, airscrew 1.5 turns out to start, Idle adjusted before any other adjustments are done I like my idle to be 1000-1100, the book says up to 1400rpm. Then do the air screw adjustment but get the motor warmed up first for about two-three minute. Before you try adjusting anything but idle.

There is dirt grime inside some of those orfices I guarentee it!

I cleaned it 3 times completely. I just ran it and in 4th gear i can apply light throttle and it revs a bit not much other then that i cant in any other gear throttle just bogs all you hear is a loud roar from the filter.

btw I replaced the crank seal yesterday and I noticed its empty gain after about 3/4 a quart was put in.

If you lost gear box oil, check the shifter side, there is a lip seal around the shifter rod, you could be loosing oil out there. If that is the case, then pull your shifter rod and make sure that isn't bent, if it is a new seal won't help you, you should straighten or replace the shifter rod.
