A few days back I traded my 01 blaster for an 04 kx250f that supposedly needed the carb to be cleaned out, so I told the guy my blaster was bored .5mm over. I didn't tell him when we rebuilt it though though. So I began working on the bike, and it was really dirty. Now my dad tells me it needs to be rebuilt, but the stupid guy said it was rebuilt with 4 hours. Today I see my blaster on craigslist for $1700, more than I was asking. Now he says it was rebuilt 3 weeks ago (lie) about a year ago I rebuilt it with my dad. And he says it's a 240 also a lie It's was .5mm over barely anything.

Generally if anything on craigslist says "just needs a carb cleaning", run away. There's a reason why that expert diagnosis is used so much on there. These people have no clue why the motor messed up, but it's a quick lie that will sell the bike. Buyer beware.

sorry to hear that he lied to you. yea i seen that blaster on craigslist. i kinda kno how you feel i ended up trading my drag blaster for a banshee. he said it just needed the carbs f*cked with. and it turns out the cylinders was scored up from running it lean. but i got it running and just picked up some ported jugs off ebay..and a week later i saw my blaster back on craigslist..

and when ever i buy/trade some thing local i always meet some where i never have them come to my house.
