hydro rear brakes locking up

my friend rode my blasty and came back and the broke was completely locked up. i opened the bleeder valve, and a volcano of brake fluid went into my eye. after a good eye wash it still locks up every few times i hit it. this really blows because i dont have front brakes at the moment. i know the rotor is warped and im getting a new one but what can i do to make the caliper stop locking up?

Since it looks like you have an '03 Blaster I'm guessing you have the stock hydraulic caliper. And the slider pin that connects the bracket to the caliper is most likely your problem. I wouldn't put it off. They tend to rust together so tight the sleeve in the caliper will come out with the pin when you take them out if you wait too long. I.E. Junk Caliper!

Item 13 is most likely your problem. I know it's a Honda drawing. Same caliper only Yamaha doesn't break out the components. Your going to ruin your Item 16s (if they are not already toast) when you take it apart. Lots of people selling rebuilt ones on Ebay. You may find someone who will swap yours for a rebuilt one.

I would kick his arss, it's his fault that you have never changed the brake fluid or removed the caliper for clean and lube and he must have warped the rotor on that one ride he was on.
