Today while riding my wheeler turned a plug to a wicked lean mixture. I
Changed plugs and after adding some oil into the gas tank it started right up and is now running rich. I think the oil injection thing is clogged.. I was to start per mixing it. Would runnin just has cause it to go lean?

Thanks

Running rich as in oil rich, smoking?

Running rich, as in fuel rich, choking?

Drain the tank, fix the injection., or remove the injection and pre mix 32:1, in any case drain the tank, you have an unknown mix in there, dangerous.

Too much oil in the mix makes for a lean fuel mix, very dangerous!

Can you do a leak down test, to see if it is air tight.

cut oil lines to carb. and plug up the nipple on the carb. take the plastic gear off in the clutch case. bam ur done.

u can also dissconnect the oil light in the headlight, and take the tank out.

I have no clue. I don't have a leakdown tester. It runs wicked rich now? No clue wtf happen. I am selling this peice of shi* I hate blasters. They blow so easy.. Advice for anyone who wants one. Don't get one! Get a 4 stroke

you shouldent have posted that on "blasterforum" if ur having that many problems with it, then ur doing something wrong. if u dont know what a leak test is, thats y its probly blowing so much on you.

I know what a leakdown tester is.. It's just I have had so many problems. I'll brin it to someone and they say eerything is fine an perfect and then boom breaks or just something small goes on it whih then ruins the hole thing

You will be paying quite a bit more for a 4 stroke with the same amount of perfomance. With a little upgrade and know how along with a bit of patience the blaster really isnt to bad a machine.High maintenence yes but so are all 2 strokes.YZF 450 or susuki nice but huge cost difference.I:I.

It's just ridiculous how much money I put in this machine in the past two months. It still runs like crap. Yesterday it was fine and a tab bit rich but today I was driving and I just shut off completely and bogged down and the plug was lean as hell! I never touched a thing

Hmm.Yes I hear you it can be frustrating and spendy.Yes definatly do not ride it like this.Do you have access to a manual.I would go ahead and still do the oil block off but sounds like you may have some cloged jets and dirt in fuel. Most important thing is patience and taking the time to do the elimination process untill the cause of the problems are found.Yes I agree blasters are work but once you make it your own and get familiar with it.It will be less stressfull.Whats all been done with the funds you pute into it.

:o aaahhhhhhhhh i love blasters i wish i lived near id buy it

It runs rich now once I added oil to the tank... It may be dirt in the tank? I've had a full rebuild and heli coils tht the header stripped from vibration and just stupid stuff like that

My buddy said run some fuel and carb cleaner stuff you just add in the tank.. Will that in clog anything?

if you want remove the oil injection system like explained before ^^. But i would also bring the main jet up a size or two to make up for the oil thats goin to be mixed in the tank. if you dont the mixxed gas is a smudge thicker and will actually lean out the engine through a stock jet. and then clean your tank and use a filter on the gas line.

It is impossible to run rich if you added oil, it would run fuel lean.:-/

You supposed to be helping him blaaster. We know what he meens.

Its a new motor.Has it been properly broke in.No I would not run any aditives.I would drain the tank and pull the peakcock(shut off valve from gas tank) and clean the filters and flush the tank. Then I would pull the jets and blow compressed air threw them to clear them out.If your still breaking in and your running the oil injection I believe you still supposed to premix 50:1 in tank for brake in.This is a vital time for your motor.Do not skip out on brake in or you will be just doing another rebuild plus poor perfmance.I believe blaaster has some links for the service guide and manual to walk you threw the process if would be so kind to do so.

S**t NO !!!!!!!!!!!

Do not add oil to the mix if you are running oil injection, wether you are breaking in or not.

Either run injection, or pre mix, you cannot do both.

Well you can, if you do,"Boom"
