two of my three wheelers don't have functional rear brakes. Hoping to put hydros on the bumble bee build.
wooo i ride no rear brakes lol i can adjust my rear but its eather locked up or not functional lol
i dont have rear brakes because mine when i bought it didnt have rear brakes. and i need the whole rear brake system now because it still had the cable and foot pedal thingy and when trying to take off the metal heelguards i snapped it because the bolts didnt want to come out because they were stripped so i yanked the whole thing off and snapped it
mine dont work too well. i cant get em to lock up at all. once i do a maintenance on em they work for the first 2 or 3 rides and then nothing. im gonna upgrade to hydros soon. sorry to thread jack but does anyone know if the shorty cable works good? just pm me or something about em
i have no rear brakes right now but i have a set of 04' hydros that i need to get around and install though.
i know guys that run no front brakes, but rear? thats kind of crazy. i know that blasters with mechanical rear brakes suck ass, my brother and i owned 2 brand new blasters in 98. and 1 had non working rear brakes from the factory!!!! hows that?!?! install hydros on all sides. they stop the best. i hear a lot of blaster guys running banshee from brake setups. not sure how much of them they use, (use 03-up blaster spindles, everything else banshee stuff should work. for rear 03-up carrier the rest banshee just weld a tab for master cylinder and modify your brake pedal or get an 03-up brake pedal) but that is an awesome setup. drag racer banshee guys will probly give them away, hhaha well sell em for cheap.

Mine work AWESOME!!!!!, a simple touch of the toe and the rear work like a dream, a firm toe and the rear will lock up and kill the engine as the rear tires skid!, I use my rear brakes about 90% of the time, if you get on the front brakes all it'll do is bury the front tires up to the lower control arms!!!
Well they used to be on but didn't work so i took apart the caliper and it looked like someone threw up a big pile of rust and mud and poop in it and took about an hour to get the pads out and then realized the caliper didnt work at all and im hoping to buy rear hydros by this weekend from 92blaster wen i get my paycheck
I dont run breaks at all, i always have. The cable breaks suck d**k. Ive been riding for months without them and im not gunna put them on until i get hydros(next year).
I'm just the opposite. I use my front brakes almost everytime. If I didn't have rear brakes it wouldn't bother me at all
