the only place I have EVER seen a blaster frame crack and seperate is on the downtube between the swingarm mount and the pegs. and the front motor mounts. they are fairly stout. now stock 250r frames crack all over the place.
Dont ask me why some people make and sell some of the stuff they do, it's pointless. theres aftermarket stuff out there that actually performs WORSE than stock. before you spend money on parts, figur what it's supposed to do, how its supposed to do it, and wether or not it actually works/ or are the gains worth the price. if I'm buying a fancy alum airbox, I want to see flowbench numbers at all throttle positions, if Im gonna buy a fanci CDI, I want to see a comparison of the advance curves, intial and final advance numbers, if I'm buying a fancy alum. skidplate made of 6061 t-6, I want to know if it has been reheat treated, since the welding process has change it from t-6 to something resembling the tensil strength of warm dogsh!t. if somebodies selling a long travel front end, what are the travel numbers?? what size wheels was it set up for?? if I'm buying fancy new shocks, I want 60~90 days free revalving/springing (NOT counting the time the shocks are in transit or being serviced.)
