I might buy one of there +4mm strocker cranks, but I havent herd anything about them. Mostly I hear about vitos +3mm cranks. Could you quys inlighten me about them.

The hot rods +3 and +4 cranks u gotta get the head milled a lil bit more for the extra stretch that the piston will go.....The vitos crank is popluar not only because they are one of the best blaster part manufacturers but with the vitos stroker u dont need to get the head milled it comes with something to fill it instead!

blasterchris, its not milling the head, that would bring the squish band down closer to the piston, with the vitos you add a spacer plate between the bottom end and the jug and you have to shave off(trench) where the connecting rod goes through by the top of the crank case, so the connecting rod doesnt hit.

I believe the +3 doesn't need trenching, the big end of the rod is modified so you don't have to. That's why they're rather popular. I've also heard that this weakens them some but I have no real experience using one.

The vito crank does not need the case to be trenched; however your need to relieve the top of the case where the rods swings around.
The hot rod crank bearings suck, look up the part number on the bearing and you will know what I am talking about
LOL
Go with Vito

i think they are both good cranks ,and like Kennedy said sometimes you gotta relieve the top area to free the swing of the connceting rod on the vitos ,the hotrods will definitly need cases to be trenched .as far as relibaility they bot hhold up well but as strange as it sounds i know of more trouble with the hotrods than the vitos and then the dreaded case trenching ,but nice thing is yo u can get another mm of stroke over the 3mmstuffer crank which is marginal but does help if its ported correctly
