Honda 250 carb

anybody think i will gain any power from a 1985 Honda ATC 250 carb or will it even fit in the stock intake boot. anybody have any specs to how many mm's it is. its a Keihin carb/ or would this be better Keihin PWK carb from a middle 90's KX250. 38mm or would that be total over kill for my motor i plan on having it ported and the head reworked soon.

the 38mm is a lil big for your set-up. I have a 240 kit and i only run a 34pj. Works great!!

i run a 36 the ct comes with 36 or 38 so it may do jet it down.

so about a 28-30mm should be good then? how far can you jet down that KX carb it comes with throttle and everythin for 20 buck

Ya that would be perfect that is what i was going to say but everyone thinks that those are smaller that they really are. 28-30 just dont sound very big but itll work good for you.

i thought it looked odd because on the intake its huge but you look further in and the slide only fills half the hole. so i should buy it then?

better ccheck that carb good becuase kawasaki had a something like a throttle position sensor on some of their models in the 90's like the KDX200, KDX220 etc.. ,the carb may not function properly

iv never heard of a kdx but im not a kawi fan but theres no electrical conection to the carb just a cable to the twist throttle

The kdx is the four poker or might be the enduro model. not sure on kawisaki's myself...c i cant even spell it right lol

No the the KDX200 and KDX220 are 2strokes
