as most of you know that i sold my blaster about a year ago and got a 400ex, then sold it and got a crf150r, then my grandpa bought me a 450r, well guess what i just traded my crf150r for a 06 450er! and the cool thing my dad just had to sell his sportsman 800 to get his truck out of the shop, well now i got a bike that he can ride and race with me! the bike is basically stock with red detail kit, and a white brothers exhaust.

the one on the left is the 06 and the one on the right is my 05

my bike compared to the 06, we think mine has motor work cause it is nothing compared to the 06.

I rode with a couple guys last year, they borrowed two 700 Raptors from the one guys brother. One was supposedly modded and bitchin and would smoke the other that was stock except for Swamplite Tires. Well, the one with Swamplites went everywhere, and when dragging it dusted the modded bike. They even switch to see if it was driver ability...psssh...not even. So, even if the engine has some mods, in my humble opinion, doesn't always mean for the better.

Yuuuup. You have to make sure it will all work well together. Throwing the wrong performance parts together can give you less power then stock.

omg, oh no sissy got a car from g pa. i wish i could have a $4,000 used atv or car dropped in my lap when i was younger, cuz something wasnt fair... life in the real world isnt fair, never has been never will be.
im seriously not trying to be a jerk, but you should be extremely grateful that your parents/grandparents have the ability to buy you nice things. id be kissing their a$$ for a long time if a 450r magically appeared for me one day. lol ;p
i know people who used to make $75-100k a year, then the economy took a downturn. they got laid off and couldnt find a good job, now they work at crap jobs for 7.25-10.00hr.
they can barely afford to pay their rent or mortgage, they could never dream of just buying a nice car and quad for their kids "just because". the cars they have are crappy and on payment because their nice vehicles got repo'd.

it looks really nice, my buddy has one and its a trail machine, but had the power/gearing for dragging also. very good all around machine, if your 150lbs or lighter that thing will seriously fly with you on it. good luck with it, any plans?

thats the first quad anyone has ever bought me, ive bought all my other quads my self, and traded a go cart for my first quad.

oh yeah btw my 450r was only 2200 bucks.
