hey i have a 98 blaster so it doesnt have a battery... so the headlight runs off the engine's power and idk whats wrond but every time i put a new bulb in and i get going... once i rev past like half throttle the bulb blows... and ik that its the right bulb... also wud a trail tech atv lighting kit be any good at replacing the stock light?

I wouldnt worry about it unless you ride at night alot, I took my headlight off cause I never use it and they look better without em.

you need to figure out why its blowing stock lights before putting other ones on.

a lot of people get fog lights from wal mart with lower wattage bulbs. there's a thread about it in the DIY section

i got my lights from napa for $8 each and they are awesome, your problem i bet is the voltage regulator (the little square with 2 wires going to it bolted to your frame by the steering stem under the hood) any lights that are less that 55watts will work. also no blaster has a battery regardless of what year.

trying it on low won't make a sh*t bit of difference, there's likely too much voltage getting to the headlight and it'll blow on high low or whatever
