So a little update...
We are now living in ND. moved into town here
So the ranger had gotten a new clutch in Feb i think. anyways, after putting less than 100 miles on it, the clutch stopped working.
turned out to be a faulty slave. replaced that, didn't help. replaced master and that worked. keep in mind we got the truck back Friday at 5pm ish
My dad drove it home (3mi) and around for maybe 2 more.
clutch stopped working again.............. Friday 8pm ish
SO, what do we do with a truck that needs to be driven over 500 miles the next day?
well, we do.
pop her in first at a dead stop. turn it over and start rolling.
probably had 20-30 stops from the old place to the road in front of the new one. so wasn't bad, but still sucked. (maybe stopped for 8-12 of them)
Anyways. The clutch is out and we are going to try some stuff on it. My dad is currently driving it while i get to baby his Jetta TDI wagon (aka Magic Wagon)
Looking for a new ranger. Found a 96 with everything else exactly the same. 140k miles. its in Nebraska, so might be a road trip
then again, hey. if i get to choose a new truck, i want to choose...
So I'm looking for a 4x4. would like it with the 4.0 V6. but from looking around, i found one in a 500 mile radius. need to check more
I would like to drive a 4x4 3.0 and 4.0 just to feel the difference. I imagine stock blaster compared to mine lol
Drove to Bismarck and looked there. found a nice ford focus.
I could live with a car until i needed to move the blaster. I could do everything else just fine in a car... unfortunately(fortunately), i still have the blaster
So my vehicle choice is up in the air...
