Happy Birthday to.....

I like the extended cab, very nice to have extra space. My brother put a sub right where one of the rear seats was. sounds okay, but he needs to build a real box

My blaster will not roll right in... takes two people to load with no ramps. With ramps i can drive right up in.

The 4 cyl isnt strong enough, my brother could barely pull a small trailer with both the quads on it. and he has the lower gearing for the tow package...

Steange he had issues pulling maybe different versions had different gearing, with blaster in back, huge teailer, my big ass utility quad, my daughters quad, all our gear and fuel cans plus tools i get around these PA steep mountain hills witg ease half the time i forget im pulling anything, rolls right out of stop signs or if stopped on an up hill i just let out of 1st gear as normal no extra stain on it at all. With back right up to a hill n ride it right in,or use ramps, or with the trailer put tail gate down and pop a lil wheelie right in. Lol shes a sweety and sooo got on the pocket when i go for a drive, $20 buck baby gets me a weeks worth of driving

My brother had trouble picking up speed on flat ground lol. its a small trailer, but heavy i know that. dont have it anymore though.

Anyone know what 3.0 fuel milage is?

My dad found this one and seems to be stuck on it.

I will drive the jetta the summer until a perfect deal pops up.

Still not sure if i want a car or truck. I posted my blaster for $3500 for the fun of it (no haters need comment)

Out here in dickinson, everything is more expensive. and most young guys have money to spend. so i thought "what the hell" and posted it

took my 4.0 ranger xlt to ken oconnors and back hauling a large trailer, 3 quads, gear, 2 full grown men and a broke ass, mooching, rat bastard.
930 miles round trip. roughly $300/86 gallons of fuel = 10.8 miles per gallon :(
but the 4.0 did do 80+ mph easily most of the way :)

my last trip was in the vr6 vw jetta, i think i averaged 24miles/gal. cost me under $150 round trip :)

Well i got a hit on my blaster tonight. After 90 views and 1 person watching on bisman

Remember, i am in the ND oil fields. People out here have money to spend, $20 says he shows up in a new jacked up truck

Car my dad and i tried to get a few months ago was put back on craigslist today cheaper than before.
Emailed them tonight and will call tomorrow if i dont hear back by then

Also because i need a new computer. dont NEED, but would really like. i might be building one soon.

I had planned on buying a new laptop, but they are really expensive and building a pc at this point is cheaper plus way better.
Will just use this older one for school, i will probably wipe it and just make it strictly school work only.

probably not... i will tell you why. I could lean out the window of our house with a yard stick and touch the next one.

I know people live in town with them and whatev, but i cant ride it anywhere to trails. Nearest is maybe 5 miles and i dont think its legal in the town to ride roads

I wish i could, but if i have an opportunity to make a little side money from this, i will.

Lots of great memories and lots of blood and sweat put into my quad, but sometimes if you get an opportunity to do something, you just have to take it

And disclaimer: If i get rid of the quad, i wont get rid of you guys ;)

I tried that, i also tried the eclipse gsx awd turbo but my dad has excuses for it all.

I can make a golf beat those dang civic fart cans so i will be fine with that. maybe a 240 when i get older (more money & freedom)

we had a 2007 vw golf gti. fahrenheit edition and it was fine other than timing belt and something went bad with the fly wheel

we also currently have a 2002 vw jetta wagon TDI. Torque monster!

timing belts are wear items and need replaced every 50-60,000 miles, especially on an interference engine like the vw's

and here ya go, a good use for that jetta wagon, there's a company on fagbook who makes a conversion kit,
or others have done DIY, pretty cool, i'd like to do one someday.................

best of both worlds......a jetta truck !
