I know the person that broke it and he knows a lot about working on bikes and knows a whol lot more than I do about rebuilding a 4 stroke im pretty sure he dropped the cam and broke the grarI am anyways very wary when I get something given to me to fix, if the owner says it just broke.
What did they do wrong to make it break, what did they force, what did they do wrong.
What else have they done that caused the breakage, I always look a lot deeper into the problem so that when I replace the broken part, I do not get a nasty surprise.
well iv never worked on one befor and I want him to show me how to work on them4 strokes aren't hard to fix
iv had people tell me that its easy but iv just don't know how to work on themto seek knowledge is good. You seem pretty sharp I think you will pick it up easy
You should consider doing a complete valve job while it's apart.
os the z400s the valves ate softer than the seats and they have a problem with them doing thisThat would be the last place dirt would "stop" lol. Velocities are highest there of any point of the intake or exhaust tracts. Maybe carbon. Better hope the seats aren't worn out.
