Finally got my press back. We'll be using this for crankshaft rebuilds, rear axle repair, automotive A arms, wheel bearings, drive shafts or just crushing things for the fun of it.

now, why would you crush a perfectly good swingarm??????? unless it was built out of line by almost 2 inches????
you sound way excited to have that press back in your shop!!!!!!
and i knew a girl once we called "40 ton fun"

We built a new crankshaft jig last month but I didn't want to use our current press to test it. We tested the jig on the new 40 ton press yesterday. Definitely not a DIY but I'm willing to show you how we do it. Anyone interested?

Crank demo please!
I tested a hard drive with a press like that. It was very satisfying :)
