front mx tire size?

itsa bout time i get new front tires..... with 18" rear ones, and 21" fronts, it looks a little weird having bigger fronts then rear. what size tire do u think would be the best for mx? i was thinking 19 or 20" if i can find some.

edit: im thinking of 20x6-10

I have 20" tires on the front of mine and it rides nice, looks good too imo. If the track stays smooth I would consider 19s to lower your center of gravity a little more

i think 19's would be good for mx. i gotta get new tires and rims for the front of mine and im going with 19x6-10 holeshot mxr's. my front tires are good for tread, but their tubed because they used to be studded making them heavy and wobbly, and my rims wont be able to mount new tire because there dented to sh*t.

see thats what im saying! i cant decide between 19 or 20. this octuber im gonna be racing in the sand, so i dont want it to be too low, other wise i wont go anywhere. but too high makes it tipsy. lol "the great debate!"

only thing ill add, it took me a min. to find em but, i got a set of 20-7-10's not the 20-6-10's theyre a little wider in the tread and they dont bury in the sand quite as much as the narrower tires. i guess its up to you and what you can find...

20x6x10's arn't going to be good for mx at all, May have problems getting the bead seated, i'd say you need 20x7x10s! And i vote 19x10x9's on the back.. or 8's.
Start saving for some beadlocks to!

If i were racing a blaster, i'd say the perfect tires would be razr mx's on back, maybe some razr cross' on front. But i don't think razr cross makes a 7 wide tire STI tech makes a cross thats 7 wide but it is a 21x7x10 lol............
