i did a search but found nothing.

is it at all possible to have the brake lever on the handle bars control the rear instead of the front? any info would be great.

i have the mechanical setup (non-hydro).

sorry if this has been brought up before. i couldnt find it.

yeah, just measure up how long of a cable you need, then you'l have to find a bracket or somthing to put it through to keep it snugg to the frame or somthing, so it pulls the cable inside the sleeve, and not the hole thing!

i'm gonna try to work on it this weekend. it just seems like it would make more sense. only thing is then you gotta have that long cable again. small price to pay as long as it's done right.

idk, the more i think about it, the more i'm leaning towards leaving it. they do have it set up that way for a reason. but still, could be fun...

Hey good thing you brought this up.
i have been wanting to hook up all my brakes to one leaver.
anyone know how i would go abouts doing this?
(srry for the thread jacking but its basically the same question)

why would you want to if you did that you wouldnt have nearly as much control over your bike.. i now a guy who had one hand that did put clutch and brake on one side.. but putting the brake togeather sounds like a bad idea..

Bigger 4x4 quads have all wheel braking. Its nice for straight line braking and stuff, but for control it sucks. you have none!
Now if you could hook it up so you could have all wheel braking and then swich it back to regular braking for corner control and w/e that would be tight.

yeah it would suck when you went to use ur brakes to put ya around a corner and you grabed them, and went straight! not a good idea for a blaster, unless u ride like an old man!

sorry, not trying to bash you, but i think that would be a bad idea.

next time you ride pay attention to how you manipulate your brakes. you brake differently depending on what you are doing. all front, all rear, infinite percentage combinations... unless you ride like pappy, of course.

even then, the fronts control approx. 75% of your breaking. that would be kinda hard to rig up so that your fronts got 3 times the braking pressure as the rear. although cable rears suck anyhow so maybe it'll work perfect hahhaha.

oh, and i dont see why having it on a lever would be more beneficial at any instant. unless you didn't have legs 0.o
