I just got a set of double lines for the front brakes and I'm going nuts getting all of the air out. The front master and both calipers were bone dry when I started. I bench bled the master and hooked the lines up at the top but when I start pumping the lever, it seems like it sucks air from the line. I also tried to do the lines one at a time. Better luck but still not right. I'm open to suggestions??????????????

my rear hydro sat empty for a few years so i feel your pain man. it took my buddie who has a very succesfull auto garage probally a hour of toying with it before it started to work. he had a little brake line vacuum pump that he put on the one end to start sucking the fluid through the line, it seemed hopeless but with persistance it started to work and is perfect now. so all i can say is get one of those little vacuum pumps and keep at 'er. good luck dude

mine did similar ken, gotta let them gravity bleed and keep babysittin them adding more fluid as needed, till you see it dripping out of the bleeders onto the floor, then bleed regularly to finish off any remaining air, my rear one also liked when i had it hanging there with the bleeders facing upwards

Thanks. I'm going to take an old cover, screw an air fitting into it, fill the res with fluid, open the bleeders, and pump some air into it with a bike pump. I'll let you know how it works.

before you do that just crack the bleeders and let gravity do some work for you, just let it sit a while and check it again later

if you pump air into it thats whats gonna get into thr lines, the rezzie doesnt hold enuf fluid for all the lines and will have to have fluid added at least 3 - 4 times, took me a half of small bottle to get the back bled, gravity bro, it's the best way

now just wait till you ride it like that, hydro's make such a big difference!!! they will actually make you faster???? yeah, you'll go into turns and ruff stuff faster knowing that you can get slowed down quick enuf with a slight pull with one finger
