Flip Front wheels?

Hi, I was hoping someone could fill me in on the pros/cons of turning front wheels inside out. Ive read a few posts where folks have done this and it seems that it may help gain some front end balance. But will stock valvestems clear. Thanks

if its 03-06 then no, anything under 02 yes

Stock valve stems will clear if it's an 88-02.If it's an 03-06 then you will need to move the valve stem to the other side.Most will just flip the existing one around and drill a new hole on the other side.It will give you an extra inch on each side and will help out with balance.

Why is this in the engine thread. They valve stems on the 1st generation will clear, but the 2nd generation blasters wont(the blasters with the hydro front brakes 03-06)

yo dualstroke didnt you get flush stems? i just picked some up i hope they work, anyway flush stems are an option aswell

But also it will help out a little in the front.As far as stability,I got it done and I ride crazy,I've had no probs.On the 02 and older you may haved to turn the break adjustment wing nut in order to get the valve to clear also!
